About Me

I'm still trying to figure myself out. Luckily my Wonderful Maker has a user's manual for my life. Or else I would be dreadfully and hopelessly lost.

Psalm 27:13-14

I am still confident of this:
I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.

Sisters
Thursday, March 4, 2010

During family group today we broke out into guys and girls to share, and I got to really have a wonderful time of sharing with my UP sisters. I feel like I haven't shared so openly in a very long time about the things I'm going through, the struggles I'm facing, and the insecurities that I've had to overcome.

It was also so tremendously blessing to hear my sisters sharing so openly about their struggles and the troubles that God is bringing them through.

I really feel so blessed to be in such a loving community in which we can really build each other up.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
"9Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their work:

10If one falls down,
his friend can help him up.
But pity the man who falls
and has no one to help him up!
11Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.
But how can one keep warm alone?
12Though one may be overpowered,
two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken."

I have been so encouraged and uplifted by our talk. God is truly so amazing. =)

Praise God for sisters in Christ who are so willing to love, understand, empathize, encourage, and even admonish in love!
